Community Preservation and Development Corporation (CPDC) has selected Eclipse Security, Inc.
Columbia, MD - Nov. 16, 2007 – Community Preservation and Development Corporation (CPDC) has selected Eclipse Security, Inc. as their security solutions provider for the renovations of Mayfair Mansions. Mayfair Mansions was one of the District's first garden apartment complexes, completed in 1946 and composed of 17 residential buildings and a community center. Over the next 18 months, each of the 569 units on the complex will be completely renovated and five of the residential buildings will be converted to condominiums that will be sold to current residents.
Eclipse Security, Inc. will install an integrated system including access control, CCTV, telephone entry and visitor management. “It is an honor to be chosen for a project of this magnitude by a company as widely respected as CPDC” said Aaron Kahn, Director of Business Development for Eclipse Security, Inc. “With my background being in the public sector, I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of designing a system that is cost effective but meets the strenuous security requirements for a property of this size.” Kahn went on to say, “it is not everyday that you have the opportunity to partner with an organization that is viewed as one of the premier affordable housing owners on a national level such as CPDC. We have worked hard to have a proven track record for keeping our client’s best interests at the forefront and this project is just another example of that.”
