Merritt Athletic Clubs partners with Eclipse Security, Inc. to strengthen security at health clubs

Columbia, MD - 2/2/2006 - Health clubs across the country are learning that the cost of adding additional security measures to their facilities far outweighs the risks of ignoring recent crime trends. With Identity Theft on the rise, health clubs have become a prime target for criminal behavior since many members fail to secure their personal belongings properly.

Merritt Athletic Clubs which owns and operates 11 locations in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area has chosen Eclipse Security, Inc. of Columbia, Maryland as their security partner. As a part of this agreement, Eclipse Security, Inc. has performed an on-site security survey of all locations and has begun to install CCTV cameras to enhance security .
